Its design and philosophy are very close to that of Modal SKULPTsynthesiser. The CRAFTsynth 2.0 has excellent

sound design capabilities , in a highly portable package.

The Modal CRAFTsynth 2.0 has dimensions of 150 x 135 x 68 mm (6 ” x 5 1/2″ x 3 “) and weighs approximately 300g and can be powered either by 3 batteries AA or via USB , allowing you freedom, inspiration and creativity in studio, on the street or on stage.

USB connection is not just for power, Modal CRAFTsynth 2.0 enables Class Compliant USB MIDI connectivity , enabling CRAFTsynth 2.0 to be used on a wide range of MacOSX , Windows , iOS & Android tablets and mobile phones.

The MODALapp editor The provides full optical access and control all characteristics of CRAFTsynth 2.0, and full cooperation with the first generation of Modal , including devices CRAFT ( CRAFTsynth 1.0 and CRAFTrhythm ), and the Modal SKULPTsynthesiser into a single high-quality surround for MacOSX, Windows or iOS & Android devices .

The CRAFTsynth 2.0 has excellent input and output options, including DIN MIDI input and output

(with ‘ THRU ‘ option ), and SYNC in and out via 3.5 mm jacks .
